We were honored to welcome Dr. Fonz Mendoza, host of My EdTech Life, along with Lori Menning and Christine Dyer, to our partner school.

Their visit to Puerto Rico took place during their participation in the Tech My School Spring Educators Conference, giving students the opportunity to connect with inspiring educational leaders and innovators beyond the conference setting.

Today, Tech My School celebrated this achievement by presenting the school director with an official recognition certificate honoring the students, teachers, and families who helped build a strong culture of literacy and learning through educational technology.

🏆 The school’s top three readers received special prizes and awards for their outstanding dedication and reading accomplishments.

🍕 To celebrate the entire community effort, the 6th grade class earned a pizza party for helping the school successfully complete the challenge.

Coding, Creativity, and STEM Learning at Juanita García Peraza School!

As part of our collaboration agreement with the Puerto Rico Department of Education, students participated in a hands-on Code & Play experience where they explored foundational coding and robotics skills through interactive learning activities. 🚀

Students used Osmo to practice sequencing, logic, and problem-solving through play-based coding challenges, while others explored robotics with Dash, learning directional concepts and developing computational thinking through movement and experimentation. These experiences foster collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking while making STEM learning exciting and accessible. 🧠💡

First Coding Experience at Higher Education Academy in Manatí - a new school that has recently joined the Tech My School community 🤝✨

As part of this new partnership, we introduced students to our Code & Play experience, bringing coding to life in a fun and engaging way. For many, this was their very first time exploring what it means to think like a coder.

During the session, students worked with the KaiBots from Kai’s Education, taking on the KaiBot Challenge. Through hands-on missions, they practiced sequencing, problem-solving, and collaboration—building foundational computational thinking skills while staying fully engaged and excited.

The energy in the room made one thing clear: this is just the beginning. We’re excited to continue growing alongside Higher Education Academy and to keep opening doors to innovation, creativity, and future-ready learning 🚀💙

Wrapping up another impactful Professional Development journey with the educators of Escuela Juanita García Peraza in San Juan — one of the schools collaborating with Tech My School this year 📚✨

To close this year’s PD series, we explored the power of the Flipped Classroom model and how intentional instructional design can create more active, student-centered learning experiences. Together, educators discussed the methodology behind flipped learning, practical strategies for classroom implementation, and the opportunities this model creates for engagement, collaboration, reflection, and personalized learning.

Throughout the session, teachers participated in thoughtful conversations, reflected on their instructional practices, shared ideas, and explored authentic ways to integrate these strategies into their classrooms. What made this experience especially meaningful was the willingness to learn, collaborate, ask questions, and continuously seek new ways to elevate teaching and learning for students.

We are deeply grateful to Escuela Juanita García Peraza for welcoming Tech My School throughout this year and for continuing to invest in innovation, growth, and meaningful educational transformation 🚀

🎓✨ Integration Day + Code & Play at East Point Academy (Las Piedras, PR)

Tech My School recently wrapped up another year of partnership with East Point Academy in Las Piedras with a final Integration Day focused on what drives real school improvement: in-classroom teacher support, meaningful technology integration, and hands-on student learning.

Throughout the day, Tech My School worked side by side with teachers through classroom observations, one-to-one coaching, instructional collaboration, and real-time implementation support. These Integration Days matter because they allow Tech My School to move beyond training sessions and into the classroom — helping teachers refine practice, solve challenges, strengthen student engagement, and use educational technology with greater purpose and confidence.

This kind of embedded support is what helps build sustainable growth. It creates space for reflection, modeling, personalized coaching, and stronger instructional decision-making based on the real needs of teachers and students.

To close the day, students participated in Code & Play using Osmo, where they collaborated to solve game-based challenges and help characters move through the activities. From Kindergarten and beyond, students were not just “playing with technology” — they were practicing computational thinking, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and spatial reasoning in ways that felt natural, joyful, and age-appropriate.

That is the power of tools like Osmo: they blend hands-on manipulatives with interactive digital learning, giving students opportunities to test ideas, make decisions, learn from mistakes, and build confidence through collaboration.

🚀Coding Growth at VPA

We recently completed our final Code & Play session of the academic year at Visual & Performing Arts Christian School (VPA), and it was an incredible way to close this cycle of learning and growth.

During the session, students explored Kai’s Clan, continuing to strengthen their coding, collaboration, and problem-solving skills through hands-on challenges and teamwork activities. It was exciting to see how much the students have progressed throughout the year.

Their confidence, communication, and understanding of coding concepts have grown tremendously since the beginning of the program.

Students worked together to complete coding challenges, organize strategies, and think critically in order to accomplish each objective. The engagement and enthusiasm throughout the activity reflected the strong connection students have developed with coding and technology.

What made this experience especially meaningful was seeing students who once were beginners now approaching challenges with independence, creativity, and confidence. Their growth throughout the year has been remarkable.

We recently completed another meaningful Professional Development session at Visual & Performing Arts Christian School (VPA), closing this academic year with thoughtful conversations centered around Instructional Data & Reflection.
During the workshop, educators explored how instructional data can be used to better understand student learning, guide decision-making, and improve teaching practices.

Teachers reflected on the importance of analyzing student progress and using that information intentionally to create more effective and responsive learning experiences.

One of the highlights of the session was a collaborative reflection activity where teachers shared a digital tool or instructional strategy they implemented throughout the year and discussed its impact on student learning and engagement.

The conversations were insightful, authentic, and demonstrated the strong commitment these educators have toward continuous growth.

The session was highly engaging and reflective, providing teachers with an opportunity to celebrate successes, analyze challenges, and prepare for future instructional goals.
