Integration Day at CEDIN: Where Innovation Meets Impact
Today at CEDIN – the Elementary Laboratory School of Universidad Interamericana (Recinto Metropolitano) – we saw what sustained, high-quality support truly looks like in action.
As part of our Tech Schools Empowered network, the day focused on deepening instructional practice—working side by side with teachers to refine planning, elevate their use of digital platforms, and strengthen intentional classroom integration. This is what real growth looks like: not just introducing tools, but maximizing their impact.
In the afternoon, the excitement shifted to our Code & Play program, where students took on interactive coding challenges using Kai Lab. Through hands-on activities, they developed foundational skills in:
➡️ Directional logic
➡️ Speed control
➡️ Problem-solving pathways
The result? Focused collaboration, critical thinking, and students fully engaged in joyful, meaningful learning.
At Tech My School, we are committed to building these moments every day—empowering educators and inspiring students across Puerto Rico through technology and innovation.

📚💻15,000 Digital Books Read at Emanuel Centro Educativo — and Tech My School Came to Celebrate
At Emanuel Centro Educativo in Canóvanas, Puerto Rico, Tech My School challenged the school community to reach an ambitious literacy goal: 15,000 books read through the digital reading resources Tech My School provides as part of its mission to modernize education and expand opportunity for students.
They did it. And this video captures the joy of that achievement.
Because of this incredible milestone:
💻 Every teacher at the school received a MacBook laptop
📱 The top 3 student readers received Samsung tablets
🎧 The two top reading classes, who tied, celebrated with a pizza party and personal headsets from our partner EDUVY
The best part is seeing students genuinely celebrate each other, have fun, and feel proud of reading. That is how real literacy culture is built.
In Puerto Rico, many schools lack fully functioning physical libraries — and in some cases, classrooms may only have a handful of books. Shipping books to the island is expensive, and building classroom libraries takes resources many schools simply do not have. That’s why Tech My School helps bridge this gap through a bilingual digital library with English and Spanish titles, leveled reading options, fiction and nonfiction books, and read-aloud features for younger learners. This gives students access to books matched to their reading level and interests — helping build literacy, vocabulary, comprehension, and confidence.
At Tech My School, this is how impact happens: through digital resources, teacher support, meaningful incentives, and real access for schools that need it most.
👉 Follow @TechMySchool and help expand opportunities like this for more students and teachers across Puerto Rico.

🚀 Integration & Coding Day at CIEM Private School
Students at CIEM Private School recently participated in an exciting Integration & Coding Day, where we worked with 5th, 6th, and 8th grade students to strengthen their coding skills through hands-on experiences.
During the session, students explored tools from Kai’s Education, including KaiBot and Kai’s Clan. For many students, this was their first time using Kai’s Clan, making the experience both new and exciting. With guided instruction, students were able to understand the fundamentals, apply coding concepts, and successfully complete challenges.
The energy in the room was outstanding. Students were engaged, motivated, and eager to learn as they collaborated, problem-solved, and built confidence in their coding abilities.
Experiences like this continue to show how powerful hands-on learning can be. At Tech My School, we are excited to keep building these opportunities and look forward to returning for more learning and growth.
Support from donors and Act 60 decree holders allows Tech My School to continue bringing coding, robotics, and technology experiences to schools across Puerto Rico.

From Early Exploration to First Code: Learning Begins Earlier Than We Think
As part of our continued commitment to meaningful, hands-on learning, we brought our Code & Play experience to the Centro de Desarrollo Preescolar del Recinto de Ciencias Médicas de la UPR working with students as young as 2–4 years old.
Throughout the session:
✨ Students used Osmo Genius to create drawings using geometric shapes, strengthening creativity, visual thinking, and early problem-solving skills
✨ We introduced foundational learning through play, allowing students to explore, experiment, and express ideas in a natural and engaging way
✨ Students practiced executive function skills while engaging in guided, hands-on activities
In addition, students interacted with Dash, where they explored spatial awareness concepts such as up/down and left/right while learning how to control a robot 🎮⬆️⬇️➡️⬅️
For many, this was their first experience with robotics and coding—and their excitement, curiosity, and joy made one thing clear: learning at this age is powerful when it is playful and intentional.
At Tech My School, we believe that STEM learning can begin early, opening doors for curiosity, confidence, and future-ready skills from the very start 💙🚀

Stronger Together: Building Bridges for Transformative Education
We are grateful for the opportunity to participate in the EduExpo hosted by Oficina Regional Educativa de Ponce (ORE Ponce), where Tech My School was invited as part of the educational partners supporting schools across Puerto Rico.
This event created a powerful space to connect with fellow educational organizations, engage directly with Department of Education leadership, and build meaningful relationships with school principals—the leaders who support teachers every day and serve as key drivers of change within their communities.
At Tech My School, we provide a holistic program of intentional technology integration across the curriculum, serving as an extension of schools to better understand their needs and deliver personalized instructional support.
Our approach begins with the ITA (Integration Technology Assessment)—a foundational step that allows schools to identify priorities, design strategic plans, and ensure continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
Spaces like EduExpo are essential to strengthening collaboration, increasing visibility of available resources, and ensuring that schools have access to the support they truly need.
We are honored to serve, proud to be part of this initiative, and excited to continue these conversations in support of our schools.

🚀 Coding Day at Christian Day School with Kai’s Education
Students at Christian Day School recently had the opportunity to explore a brand-new coding experience through Kai’s Education, using both Kai’s Clan and KaiBot.
This was the first time students used Kai’s Clan, making the experience especially exciting. Since many students were already familiar with KaiBot and other coding platforms we have introduced throughout the year, they were able to quickly connect prior knowledge with this new challenge.
During the activity, students worked in teams, learning the importance of collaboration, communication, and organization in the coding process. They completed simple challenges designed to reinforce coding fundamentals while also strengthening teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Students organized their ideas, planned their coding steps, and worked together to accomplish each objective. The experience was engaging, interactive, and gave students the opportunity to build confidence as they explored a new platform.
It was exciting to see how naturally students adapted to Kai’s Clan and how motivated they were to continue learning.
At Tech My School, we are proud to continue introducing meaningful coding experiences and innovative tools that help students grow in creativity, collaboration, and computational thinking.
