Stronger Together: Building Bridges for Transformative Education

We are grateful for the opportunity to participate in the EduExpo hosted by Oficina Regional Educativa de Ponce (ORE Ponce), where Tech My School was invited as part of the educational partners supporting schools across Puerto Rico.

This event created a powerful space to connect with fellow educational organizations, engage directly with Department of Education leadership, and build meaningful relationships with school principals—the leaders who support teachers every day and serve as key drivers of change within their communities.

At Tech My School, we provide a holistic program of intentional technology integration across the curriculum, serving as an extension of schools to better understand their needs and deliver personalized instructional support.

Our approach begins with the ITA (Integration Technology Assessment)—a foundational step that allows schools to identify priorities, design strategic plans, and ensure continuous improvement in teaching and learning.

Spaces like EduExpo are essential to strengthening collaboration, increasing visibility of available resources, and ensuring that schools have access to the support they truly need.

We are honored to serve, proud to be part of this initiative, and excited to continue these conversations in support of our schools.

🚀 Coding Day at Christian Day School with Kai’s Education

Students at Christian Day School recently had the opportunity to explore a brand-new coding experience through Kai’s Education, using both Kai’s Clan and KaiBot.

This was the first time students used Kai’s Clan, making the experience especially exciting. Since many students were already familiar with KaiBot and other coding platforms we have introduced throughout the year, they were able to quickly connect prior knowledge with this new challenge.

During the activity, students worked in teams, learning the importance of collaboration, communication, and organization in the coding process. They completed simple challenges designed to reinforce coding fundamentals while also strengthening teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Students organized their ideas, planned their coding steps, and worked together to accomplish each objective. The experience was engaging, interactive, and gave students the opportunity to build confidence as they explored a new platform.
It was exciting to see how naturally students adapted to Kai’s Clan and how motivated they were to continue learning.

At Tech My School, we are proud to continue introducing meaningful coding experiences and innovative tools that help students grow in creativity, collaboration, and computational thinking.

Support from donors and Act 60 decree holders allows Tech My School to continue bringing coding, robotics, and technology opportunities to more students and schools across Puerto Rico.

🎓✨ Student-Centered Learning & Autonomy at Visual & Performing Arts Christian School (Bayamón, PR)

Tech My School recently led a Professional Development session at Visual & Performing Arts Christian School centered on a powerful priority in modern education: student-centered learning and autonomy.

Throughout the workshop, educators explored what it looks like to build classrooms where students take a more active role in their own learning. The session opened with a reflective icebreaker that encouraged teachers to think about different instructional styles and how those approaches influence student engagement, participation, and ownership.

Tech My School also created space for faculty to reflect on the recent Spring Educators Conference, giving teachers the opportunity to share ideas, insights, and key takeaways from the event. These conversations helped connect conference learning to everyday classroom practice and instructional decision-making.

As part of the training, Tech My School connected the discussion to the ISTE Standard of Empowered Learner, emphasizing the importance of helping students set goals, monitor progress, and develop agency in their academic journey.

Teachers also explored Khan Academy as a tool for personalized learning, self-paced instruction, and student autonomy. The conversation focused on how platforms like Khan Academy can support differentiation while also giving teachers meaningful data to better understand progress, identify needs, and respond with targeted instruction.

This session was reflective, practical, and filled with valuable discussion about how to create classrooms that are more engaging, more personalized, and more empowering for students.

At Tech My School, the goal is not just to introduce tools — it is to help schools build stronger instructional systems, increase educator capacity, and create learning environments where students can thrive.

From Strategy to Practice: Bringing Learning to Life in the Classroom

As part of this closing phase, we conducted an Integration Day, providing in-class support to teachers as they implemented technology-driven strategies in real time.

Throughout the day:

✨ We modeled the use of ClassroomScreen to enhance interactive whiteboard instruction
✨ Teachers experienced organizational, differentiated, and interactive strategies in action
✨ We supported practical applications that increase student engagement

In the afternoon, we continued with our Code & Play initiative, where students engaged in hands-on learning using:

🤖 Dash for educational robotics
🎮 Osmo for interactive, manipulative-based learning

For many students, this was their first exposure to these tools—and their excitement, curiosity, and engagement were evident throughout the experience.

At Tech My School, we continue creating opportunities where technology and meaningful learning come together to transform education—especially for students who need it most.

Professional Development Day at CEDIN ✨

Today was all about experiencing learning differently 🔄
We explored the Flipped Classroom model—starting as learners first, then stepping into the role of designers of learning experiences.

💡 Teachers engaged with content using:

🤖 School AI – an interactive AI experience where teachers explored and reflected on how to implement flipped classroom across different levels

🎥 Wayground – video-based learning to introduce key concepts

🎙️ NotebookLM – AI-generated podcasts to deepen understanding

➡️ Learn first
➡️ Then discuss, reflect, and apply

From there, we moved into action using the Flipped Classroom Teaching Matrix, designing activities that take students from:

🧠 Understanding → Applying → Creating

🔥 The energy in the room was powerful—
teachers collaborating, sharing ideas, and building strategies ready for their classrooms.

This is what it looks like when we shift from delivering content to designing meaningful learning experiences 💙

We’re proud to continue growing alongside our educators 🚀

📚✨ 18,000+ Books Read at Emanuel Centro Educativo in Canóvanas, PR

Tech My School challenged students at Emanuel Centro Educativo to read 15,000 books on Epic, the digital library we provide to the school as part of our commitment to literacy, technology integration, and 21st-century learning.

🔥 The result: more than 18,000 books read.

This was more than a reading challenge. It was a powerful example of what happens when students are given access to the right tools, high expectations, and meaningful motivation. The students at Emanuel Centro Educativo showed commitment, consistency, and a true love of reading in action.

🏆 To celebrate this achievement:
🌟 The top 3 readers from different classes received Samsung tablets and headphones
💻 Every teacher received a MacBook to strengthen daily instruction, planning, and classroom implementation

Because when students rise to the challenge, we invest back into their future — and we empower the educators leading that growth every single day.

At Tech My School, this is how we help build a stronger culture of literacy, educational technology, and student opportunity across Puerto Rico: by combining digital resources, hardware, teacher support, and real incentives that move schools forward.

This kind of impact is possible because of you. Your support helps us continue bringing technology, software, devices, literacy tools, and opportunity to under-resourced schools across the island.
